Rendering this interior to practice wood techniques. I used prismacolor markers to create this drawing.

This 30 minute sketch was to practice rendering wood surfaces. This bathroom was perfect for doing so because I was able to not only saturate the wood but I was able use different shades of color to show dimension and wood grain. I also practiced my reflections on this assignment.

This homework assignment was to practice drawing scenery in the windows. The key is to have the background less saturated then the interior in order to showcase the interior. I also rendered wood grain into almost every surface of this picture to practice this new technique.

This 30 minute sketch was to use hatching to create the lines on the images. The theme was gothic penthouse. I incorperated this theme into my drawing by including a pointed arch, gothic inspired metal chandelier, and dark dramatic windows.

This theme for the 30 minute sketch of the day is day spa. I wanted to capture the mood I would expect in a day spa by including candle light and rose petals to make my sketch feel inviting. The medium used in this drawing are Prismacolor markers.
